As the Principal of Hidden Lake Primary School, I am thrilled to welcome you to our school community. My name is Vanessa Gunn, and I believe that a collaborative school environment is the key to fostering successful students and educators. Our school thrives on strong partnerships with parents and community leaders, which play an essential role in enriching our students’ educational experiences.

With 28 years in education, my journey began in the classroom as a first-grade teacher, where I spent 13 years before transitioning to administration. For the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of serving as the Principal of Hidden Lake Primary. My commitment to ensuring that every student is challenged and engaged in meaningful learning each day is unwavering.

At Hidden Lake, we strive to meet the social and academic needs of every student, focusing on their overall growth in a safe, nurturing environment. High expectations and a belief in each child’s potential drive our mission. We encourage you to take an active role in your child’s education, whether through our Parent Teacher Organization, volunteering, or engaging in everyday learning activities at home.
